Oh seedy!

Atlas shrugged, the world fell
Leda cooked an omelette,
Odysseus found a new girl,
and I just laid in the ditch and
let tornado winds blow over me.

returning home or somewhere close

My life is just tapestry
folding onto itself
of places I've been
people I'll see
things I've seen
a person I'll be,
till nothing is left.

wife

My love was patent pending
in patent leather shoes
of school girl fantasy.
till a man loved me more
and I uped a little ante
to meet a better me.

girl martyrs and back when it was my turn

speeding up the highway, north
it's dead baby deer, dead baby deer,
another dead baby deer
and they are all does.
what's wrong with us
to make us seek kissing friends
with death.
