dogs walking
owners, stretched
necks, sniffing distance,
and thick bodies
reflecting off
our pizza and gelato
bellies.
Dark descends
in an audience
we, hushed quiet,
feeling together
sticky hands,
sticky floor,
to ballet, feet
beating circles
around us.
