How I spent a third birthday in this place

I knew nothing of four years ago.

A trilogy of shifting sands,

compacted, still hard and unknown.

Yet I celebrate by

visiting those new places

from my first year,

avoided the second,

now ready for a fresh restart.

Maybe this time, I’ll get it right.
